By signing in you can now create your own mini design patterns and get them published at Patternry. Just click the new “Add Pattern” tab and start writing your own patterns.
.
You can save your patterns as drafts, so that you can access and modify them at later time, or submit them to review. If you submit a pattern to review and it meets our standards we will publish it in a few days. However, don’t worry too much about your pattern not being good enough before submitting it. In the case that it will need some more work to be published, we will return it to your drafts list. We will also send you an email stating why we rejected the pattern and what could be done to get it published.
You can access you drafts and published patterns in the “Manage Patterns” view. There you can also edit and delete all your patterns. You will also be able to see you patterns that are under review.
Letting everyone create mini patterns is just one of the many steps we have to take to reach our vision of a place where users can build their own pattern libraries and share them with their colleagues. So, Patternry is still very much a work in progress, and therefore we would really appreciate your feedback to help us develop it further.

Ps. We also made a number of other changes for this update inspired by the user feedback we have received. To make it more clear that you can open the patterns we changed the hover image over the pattern thumbnails. We also removed Captcha to make it easier to comment without signing in. Besides these there are changes to the navigation and many other design changes.
